Welcome to Forever Forgotten, a Pokemon roleplay set in a cursed city inside a giant hole in the ground. We welcome roleplayers of all levels, and we offer a wide variety of events with chances for members to directly impact the site's overall plot. Join the government wings to maintain peace and harmony in the city, the notorious Yamask Saints or the rising Granbull Gang in pursuit of money or your own personal goals; or perhaps join us as a simple civilian trying to make it on their own.
12/25/17 The Serbati (Christmas) event is now up and running! Grab some free gifts from the Regnum City, trade with your friends and have fun celebrating the holidays with loved (or not so loved) ones!

A new contest: Here! Members are able to compete in creating their own Regnum Pokemon (much like the Alolan Pokemon). Six lucky people will have those Pokemon made officially on the site. Check out the link for more details.

A new event: Here! The GBGs are up to no good and everyone is welcome to join in on the fun. Signups will be running for one week and you will be able to sign up even after the event has started. All of the GBG members have received a password for the locked board. Please do not share this with any other members unless they have a GBG Character.

Spring has finally surfaced in Regnum, the mass amount of ice and snow slowly beginning to vanish as the flowers take over. Though the rivers still contain some ice and many buildings have fallen to ground due to the earthquake, the colours of spring has managed to make the place seem a tad bit peaceful. Perhaps it's a sign that things will be getting better again soon.

It came so suddenly and without warning throughout the dead of the night: A sudden pulse throughout the city, followed by another and another. By the time people knew what was happening, a large earthquake shook the city, causing buildings to tumble, grounds to crack and shift and, worse of all, the city borders to collapse. Many lives were lost, others injured and lives completely changed forever.

The power plant in Regnum is still down, but some groups have gotten together with electric Pokemon to help restore some of the electricity to the city. It is suggested not to walk the streets alone as the crime rates have sky rocketed despite the efforts of the Enforcement Wing. Phones and internet is still down, but people have started finding other ways to communicate for the time being. In good news, the weather has begun to warm up, the snow and ice finally melting. Sadly, the barrier is still blocking people from leaving the city.

An interesting turn of events.

She glanced down at her watch, indifferently listening to the soft ticking of the arms. Azure eyes seem to stare in silence, shortly before a small smirk tugged at the corners of her lips. "Well, well, well.. What do we have here?~" She muses with a hum. She's scanning the stairwell that reaches into the ground, more observing it's splendour in one of the less fortunate areas. A giant hole, in this pit of a city? Now this; this was interesting. She's initially glaring down in a skeptical manner, only then to take a step forwards and closer to it's gaping hole. Dead silent as she would expect, for a cavern opening up with little to no warning at all. There was less to show for the citizen's accomplishments against the Unown, and even less to show of this gaping canyon that appeared shortly afterwords. The blonde woman was smiling even broader as a red heel clicked against it's stone surface. Without further ado, she pulled her black blouse over to proceed into the earth. This was going to be one chilly ride, if it went down as far as she thought it would.

And as she's walking down these stairs, she's quietly entertaining herself of her whereabouts within that whole.. Mess.

While the Unown were attacking, Irene took it upon herself to do some raiding of homes in the confusion and panic. So long as she was careful, she didn't see why she should be worried. The twin-tailed female was taking advantage of the situation, easily weaving her way through the crowds of people with a smirk on her face all the same. Despite the admittedly disturbing people made of stone and the few (unfortunate) victims to succumb to the Unown, Irene found it all the more interesting and intriguing as she passed each and every individual. Perhaps she could find something else of interest in Regnum? Perhaps she gave this run down town too little credit, after all. Perhaps there was something that could catch her little interest, something that was unknown to the world. Something that she - as a trainer - was determined to discover. But not for the sake of finding out; more in curiosity and desire to catch herself one of the rascals.

Ominous can't even begin to describe the frigid air and chills that this place radiated. If it weren't for the fact she was typically a ghost and dark-type trainer, it could have made her turn back out of fear. The key word is could, but that doesn't mean it does. Rather, it prompts a sly smile to stretch across her lips as she proceeds down the staircase. Her finger tips gently trace along the walls of the corridor. Tap. Tap. Tap. Her footsteps echo both forwards and behind, resonating off the walls. She would think that she was the only one here; No. Not think; she would like to think she was the only one here, but she wasn't so stupid as to believe something so foolishly arrogant. That being said, her hand hovers over one of her pokeballs. You never know what you're going to find down the staircase and to an entrance of what was going to be something.. Big, after all. It was better to be prepared than it was to be stupidly open.

Unfortunately, it seemed like this stairway will continue on for quite a long, long time.

"...Mena. Mi querida."
"...Cro?"
"Please don't touch whatever that is."
"...Cro~."
"Jimena, please. No. I swear to God."
"......"
"..."
"...CROGU-"
"DIOS MIO, NO! OI! JIMENA-!!!"

Numerous stairs and staircases alike onwards, there would have been a small amount of what was likely bickering to be heard between human and Pokemon alike; the former's tone amused yet exasperated all the same as it murmured in vague and foreign tongues, while the latter's tone seemed to grow more and more amused and playful with each decline closer and closer to defeat that the first's voice drifted into. Now, the sounds altogether were likely audible and clearly echoing throughout the walls of the staircases as they led down and down; deeper into the earth, but even then, they were distant overall, so the sources themselves were likely already a ways away as things were at that particular moment in time. From the sounds of it, however, there were obviously two parties to be had; one a seemingly adult man - and one with an apparent Hispanic accent - while the remaining was likely a common Pokemon altogether. As swiftly as they were heard the first time, they seemed to grow more and more distant- and at a rapid pace nonetheless as the man among the two screamed in foreign tongues. Constant footsteps echoed along the walls as he rushed down the sloping corridor; most likely after his Pokemon companion.

...Definitely after his Pokemon companion.

Today was supposed to be a simple day, really. Work at the agency was done for him, since the day prior; the current day free for him to do as he wanted, so for the most part, he wanted to start the morning off right and easy. He got himself ready after gathering his belongings and Pokeballs at his leisure; messenger bag slung over his shoulder and the bag itself resting firmly upon his hip as he started out into the morning air, only for things to just...suddenly hit the fan once he got far enough. Before he knew it, there were so many things happening. People were screaming. What seemed to be Unown were literally just wrecking shit across the town- and on top of that, there was literally a gaping hole that opened up near where he was going.

All he wanted to do was meet up with a client over in the Eastern District. Something easy. Something simple.
And then a pit of literal death seemed like it wanted to make a visit, so hey- since it seemed calmer compared to the raging chaos happening outside, he took it upon himself to haul ass inside to seek refuge, and because he wasn't willing to stick around on the surface while shit was still hitting the fan.

He'd been down there for a small while, actually, too; enough time to let his Pokemon out and stretch their limbs one by one. First came his Bewear, and then his Medicham and Riolu at the same time, since they were both pretty much a pair. Then came his Infernape, then his Passimian, and finally--

"JIMENA...! POR EL AMOR DE DIOS...! BASTA!"
"CRO~."

...Yup. Yup, and then there was the Croagunk.
Saved her for last for obvious reasons. ...Mostly because he didn't want to deal with her right away.

Either way, though, she was pretty much a troublemaker all the same. He told her not to touch things. She did, anyways. He yelled at her and scolded her, and she booked it. It was really a common occurrence, but for sake of being cautious, he really just wanted her to hold back considering the foreign and ominous terrain they were trekking. After all; the place seemed like it could be boobie trapped even on the way down, so whenever they passed by the occasional placard of glyphs and symbols, Juan Rafael was quite literally holding his Croagunk back to prevent her from touching it.

Of course, that didn't stop her from finding her way to give it a quick poke anyways, so he was left screaming at her while groaning in exasperation all the same. Screaming, then groaning. Screaming, then groaning again... Aaaand then it was back to aggressive screaming when she touched something else, only for a small tremor to begin as soon as the did so- and unbeknownst to him, it was really because she used a softer Earthquake to throw him off and mess with him.

Judging by how she booked it as soon as she poked the nearest placard, though, he assumed it to be a trap. He was ready to book it. He really was. But, Jimena simply gave a shudder before triggering the nonviolent and truthfully harmless shake before sprinting through his legs and further down the staircase. As much as he hated her right there and then, he just screamed after her again before booking it after her instead of back up the stairs, instead.

"JIMENA...! I'M GONNA KILL YOU IF WE DON'T DIE HERE FIRST...!"
"CROOOOOO~!"
"I REALLY, REALLY HATE YOU RIGHT NOW...!"

Sheer nothingness for as far as she descended. It doesn't matter how many stairs she climbed down; it doesn't matter just how long it should take - the same scenery and sounds of nothingness made it feel like she was walking down in circles. Back and forth, back, and forth. At some point, it becomes nauseating to think about, up to the point you're practically screaming out to be saved. The blonde woman groans in this silence. Though she wasn't against the isolation in itself, this loneliness often threw her into the most fucked up state of mind she could find herself in. Irene casually glances behind her and back into the ever-thickening darkness, casually making strides down each step with relative ease.

She was a woman who very rarely got startled, and she was a woman who could easily weave her way out of most things with her lack of emotions and empathy. However the moment she feels that light magnitude in the ground, she freezes and listens. She pauses to pay close attention to what may be happening above, lest she would like to be buried alive down here. One moment passed, then another, and another, then nothing happens. Irene keeps her azure gaze aback for another cautious moment before proceeding down the case, only then for her ears to pick up on the foreign sounds coming from behind.

More like foreign screams.

If anything, it sounded more like noisiness to her. Irritating noise that could easily be hushed if she took the time to go back, but there was no way she was willing to lose the progress she already made. That being said, Irene casually moves to the side of the case, sitting herself down as her heel taps against the edge of the latter steps. Her shoulder rests against the wall of the underground temple while calming looking outwards, now appearing to be waiting for the source of the scream that seems to be getting louder with each passing second. The echoes rebounded off the walls up until they reach her ears at a much quicker rate, and the volume itself is enough to make her cringe from the abrupt pain in her ears. "Arceus.." The woman grumbles to herself.

"Hey, Bub. Come out." The woman casually tosses a pokeball up into the air, eventually revealing a smiling, red and black Zorua. Said canine pokemon glances up to his trainer as she's pointing behind herself with a mischievous smile on her face. "... You remember what those red unown looked like, yeah?" The warlord asks her pokemon, of which the pokemon nodded his head. With relative ease, his eyes glow a bright red in colour - up until it's contorting the light around it to create the illusion of being one of the unown itself. Just hearing the screams made her nearly want to scare the poor soul more, simply by pulling out the pokemon that was wrecking the havoc up above hours prior. Said Zorua hops up the stairs with a fanged smile - which came off more as giggling from one of the stone-turning unown.

... So by the tiem the man is able to come down, all he'd see is a floating, glowing, red unown just waiting for him. Right there.

As could be guessed, the screaming got louder and louder the further down the two traveled, of course. The screams were accompanied by the occasional insult; the insults accompanied by the rushed and frantic rhythm of abrupt and fast paced steps down the flights of stairs throughout their gradual decent into the literal unknown, away from the Unown. If the situation hadn't been as ridiculous as it truly was, the speed at which they were running down would've likely been the slightest bit concerning and awe inspiring, truth be told- and the fact that the Croagunk had managed to speed her way down leagues ahead of her trainer would have been more than enough to emphasize such things.

It eventually came to the point where Rafael was actually denied the sight of his little, trouble making Pokemon; only eased (ever so slightly) by the fact that she was still being an obnoxious little fuck as she sprinted down and away from him- and to make things purposely hard for him, nonetheless. On one hand, she was still sprinting away from him; making a break for it like a prisoner in the midst of a damn jailbreak. It was a huge annoyance on his part, but on the other hand...?

...Well, so long as she was still screaming to be an annoying little brat, it meant that she was safe, so that was just a single pro in a sea of a shitload of cons.

So, he kept his ears open and intent; keeping note of the fact that the little Croagunk was still, much to his chagrin, continuously screaming her damn head off as she sprinted further and further away from him- and although he still busted his ass after her as quickly as he could, he took it upon himself to slow down the tiniest bit for sake of shaking a bit of the stress that she caused him off, because again- so long as she was screaming with that intent of annoyance and not out of legitimate fear, he knew that she was well and safe. Within a slightly calmer jog by then, he continued to fly down the steps as he kept an ear out for the obnoxious little thing. A hand lifted in order to adjust the hood of the flannel hoodie that he wore beneath the leather jacket he had chosen before leaving home that day; the same hand adjusting the scarf that he wore once the hood itself had been quickly secured upon his head. It made one more movement for sake of adjusting his messenger bag before remaining unoccupied, and he focused the well majority of his attention upon the sprint ahead, as well as the screams--

...That...he noticed had suddenly stopped.
Suddenly. Like...no lead in.

For a moment, he slowed down as the fact sunk in, but he was swift to make a break for it again within a sudden burst of speed.

Now, he was expecting a lot of things once he finally found her; more negative things over positive, but either way, he was expecting a lot of things. Jimena being attacked by some creature that looked like it was straight up nightmare material? Sure. Her accidentally triggering a trap or something? Yeah, that seemed pretty possible.

...But her staring at what seemed to be one of those Unown before actually reaching out to try and poke it?
See, that seemed pretty believable, too, but hey.
He wasn't down for hauling a stone Croagunk out of that damned temple.

That being said, his first instinct - as stupid as it might've been, in retrospect - was to sprint forward for those last few steps before slapping Jimena's hand away from the Unown- and without quite noticing the number of discrepancies about the situation at the time. If he had a different Pokemon out, then maybe, maybe he would've been a bit more fearful and cautious.

...Buuuut, Jimena was the one out, so the two of them just ended up bickering at one another again.

Jimena tried to stray away to poke the Unown again.
Rafael yanked her back.
Aaaand then Jimena stared at him before jumping up and literally slapping him in the face.

...Yeah. And all of this was actually a pretty normal thing between them.

... Now she sees a Croagunk trying to poke her pokemon's illusion.

The blonde woman maintains her stance, hidden in the shadows as she's quietly watching the brief encounter. As for Bee? He's kind of just watching with that near confused expression. The Zorua continues to stare at the two of them, taking note of the poison pokemon that's trying to poke him only for the trainer to slap the pokemon away - completely dismissing the fact that they were in front of a pokemon that could hypothetically turn the both of them to stone. Of course, Bee couldn't actually do that. If anything, he could only stare at the bickering before finally sighing out in unison with his trainer. If this was all the reaction she was going to get, it'd be more interesting to interact with the person rather than act like an antisocial stalker. Irene however, maintains that subtle stare with deep, sapphire eyes before finally stepping from the shadows. "Bee, that's enough." A raised hand snaps in the air, attracting the attention of the Zorua from behind. Said Zorua drops their illusion of Unown, flipping backwards to land on all fours. The black, canine pokemon lands at the side of his trainer, slowly before approaching and gently nuzzling his ear into the side of her leg.

"Now where have you been? I've been looking all over for you~" Her voice raises up a tad as she's glancing down at the pokemon. The pokemon who's being a sly little one by trying to shower the trainer in love and affection. The Zorua's ears gently brush against her leg, trying to gain some sort of praise for his terribly hard work. Terribly hard work; in the form of trying to scare someone shitless. Unfortunately, it didn't work. The result? A displeased Irene; but she wasn't one for punishing her own pokemon. Rather, the blonde woman slowly kneels down to scoop up to Zorua into her arms. "You really shouldn't run off like that." Her voice lowers, securely cradling the pokemon in her arms. "What'll I do if you get hurt, hm? This place could be crawling with unown, after all." Unown that she wanted to catch, yes. Another moment passes where she's quietly scolding the Zorua before her gaze falls on both the male and his companion.

"I'm sorry for that; he has a habit of sneaking away and pulling pranks with his illusions." Her lips quirk into a slightly wary smile, expressing an apologetic tone in her voice while cradling the pokemon. "I hope Bee didn't caught you two any trouble." Even then, her voice chimes a bit. Shortly after her apology, she subtly glances behind him and at the stairs leading upwards. There was still a long walk to be going down, and she intended to go all the way down. But she didn't know about what this guy wanted; for all she knew, his Croagunk could have gone rogue and dragged him into this sort of place.

If that's the case, she already liked that pokemon.

Irene quietly maintains that stare behind him, shortly before shifting that anxious smile into a slightly warmer an welcoming one. Her expression softens while a free hand begins to run their fingers through Bee's fur, more so as an act to comfort herself. "So.. What brings you down here? It's not exactly the safest place from all the Unown." He could ask her the same thing, but hey. There were many things that she could come up with. Saying she was a researcher or whatever; or simply showing interest towards the temple that appeared out of no where. Her tone is sickly sweet, but it's not superficial nor is her expression falsified. "If you're not careful, you might actually run into one of those unown~" Yes, she jests. But between the Yamask Saints and the Granbull Gang, along with stone-turning pokemon, she wouldn't be surprised if one were to appear right behind them. In fact, this entire time (despite concealing it) she's been on subtle caution.
