the city of regnum
Welcome to Forever Forgotten, a Pokemon roleplay set in a cursed city inside a giant hole in the ground. We welcome roleplayers of all levels, and we offer a wide variety of events with chances for members to directly impact the site's overall plot. Join the government wings to maintain peace and harmony in the city, the notorious Yamask Saints or the rising Granbull Gang in pursuit of money or your own personal goals; or perhaps join us as a simple civilian trying to make it on their own.
12/25/17 The Serbati (Christmas) event is now up and running! Grab some free gifts from the Regnum City, trade with your friends and have fun celebrating the holidays with loved (or not so loved) ones!

A new contest: Here! Members are able to compete in creating their own Regnum Pokemon (much like the Alolan Pokemon). Six lucky people will have those Pokemon made officially on the site. Check out the link for more details.

A new event: Here! The GBGs are up to no good and everyone is welcome to join in on the fun. Signups will be running for one week and you will be able to sign up even after the event has started. All of the GBG members have received a password for the locked board. Please do not share this with any other members unless they have a GBG Character.

Spring has finally surfaced in Regnum, the mass amount of ice and snow slowly beginning to vanish as the flowers take over. Though the rivers still contain some ice and many buildings have fallen to ground due to the earthquake, the colours of spring has managed to make the place seem a tad bit peaceful. Perhaps it's a sign that things will be getting better again soon.

It came so suddenly and without warning throughout the dead of the night: A sudden pulse throughout the city, followed by another and another. By the time people knew what was happening, a large earthquake shook the city, causing buildings to tumble, grounds to crack and shift and, worse of all, the city borders to collapse. Many lives were lost, others injured and lives completely changed forever.

The power plant in Regnum is still down, but some groups have gotten together with electric Pokemon to help restore some of the electricity to the city. It is suggested not to walk the streets alone as the crime rates have sky rocketed despite the efforts of the Enforcement Wing. Phones and internet is still down, but people have started finding other ways to communicate for the time being. In good news, the weather has begun to warm up, the snow and ice finally melting. Sadly, the barrier is still blocking people from leaving the city.

Unique Human Powers
aura and spirits, oh my!
- All abilities are available in the Pokemon Shop Only for 1.5k each. You may not start your first character with any of these abilities.

- These are the only special abilities humans can have. No exceptions will be made. This is to keep things fair between members and to avoid having a character becoming over powered. This includes all human powers seen in the Pokemon games, movies, show and manga.

Seeing into a Pokemon's Heart
People with this ability are capable of reading a Pokemon's true feelings by focusing in on their heart. It takes a lot of concentration to connect to the Pokemon's heart and can not simply be done within a matter of seconds.

Every known being capable of reading a Pokemon's Hearts experiences one of two things: Either they see the color of the Pokemon heart (a dark blue indicating a deep sadness) or they feel the same emotions as the Pokemon for a short period of time. (The Pokemon is extremely happy, so you feel extremely happy for a moment) A person who is able to see the colors around the Pokemon's heart is not able to feel the Pokemon's feelings and vice versa.

It should also be noted that reading the Pokemon's emotions is not the same thing as understanding what is causing the emotion. (You would know the Pokemon is angry but not know why it is angry)

Seeing Aura
Seeing an Aura is the ability to close one's eyes to focus and see the aura of any near, living creature. The aura itself appears as a strong blue hue. It takes a lot of practice to learn how to see a living creatures aura and can not simply be learned overnight.

At first, an aura user can see the aura of every living creature around them, even if they are hidden or the user can not see. (Yes, a blind person can see aura!). However, the aura is very faint. As the user grows stronger with their ability, they are able to see the hue more clearly. The strongest aura users are able to focus in on one person at a time.

In the Pokemon show, those capable of using aura are capable of using aura in other ways as well. However, to keep things fair on the site, we are only allowing the ability to see the aura and nothing more.

This is the ability to move inanimate objects with one's mind. This power is limited to non-living objects no heavier than a normal Pokeball. So items such as small rocks, utensils, pens, etc. People with the ability of Telekinesis are not able to lift any living creatures. This includes Pokemon who are smaller than a Pokeball. Something about living creatures blocks the power. They also can not stop something moving faster than 95 mph (152.9km/h). Telekinesis should also not be confused with Telepathy (The ability to read or control another living creature.)

Espers are people with supernatural abilities which can be a number of different things. However, here on Forever Forgotten, we will be using the term for humans who are able to sense or see the leftover energy of the deceased. (Ghosts and spirits of humans and Pokemon) Most Espers are able to sense the presence of a spirit or ghost but nothing more. Others are able to communicate with them in various ways. (Ie, touching an object they are tethered to, speaking to them verbally, etc.) However, no Esper is able to summon, command, banish or make others see them.

Clairvoyants have the ability to see into either their own or someone else's past or future. It requires a lavish amount of concentration in order to work; at best, someone wouldn't be able to see more than a day into the past or future without acquiring a massive headache. Consecutive uses also are taxing on the mind, limiting how much someone can use it daily.

Note that, OOC'ly, you must get another player's approval as to whether your character can see into their past or future, as well as what they see.

Mind Reading
People with this ability are able to see another person's thoughts. The process requires an immense amount of focus and can cause wicked headaches if the person picks up more than a sentence. They will be unable to pick up any thoughts the person would normally keep secret (e.g., a Yamask Saint thinking about something Saints-related) unless they have a strong enough bond with that person. Additionally, mind readers can only pick up conscious thoughts; they cannot delve into someone's subconscious.

Like Clairvoyants, players of mind readers must OOC'ly confirm with other players whether their character's mind can be read, and what they would see. Mind readers CANNOT see a Pokémon's thoughts, no matter how much they try.
