Angels don't give up on me today
'Cause the demons they are there, they just keep biting

BRIAR: -After another late night at work, Briar sighs as he trudges down the sidewalk. His hands tug at his hair, pulling back long, dark locks before he could secure his hair into a ponytail holder. His hands fall away, only to be shoved into his coat. Today was one of the few days his chauffeur would not be picking him up, so he had a long way to walk until he would be home for the night. Good thing it isn't cold out. Oh, wait. It is.-

DUNKIN: The air was still crisp and gnawed at his staples. His hands shoved deep in to his tattered coat to shield them away from the cold. He hated being cold. Dunkin moved from the safety of his dark alley way and sauntered through the not so busy sidewalk. Until, he spotted this dainty beauty coming his way. With poor people skills, he stops in the middle of the path and watch as they trudged forward.

BRIAR: -While used to more or less tuning out his surroundings while walking on the street, only aware of immediate dangers, Briar almost completely misses the stranger in the middle of the sidewalk. Almost. His eyes focus on the tall stranger and recognize that there was a road block only steps away. He immediately takes a step to the side to walk around said road block.-

DUNKIN: As the tyke walked around him without so much as a funny glance or ungodly screech like most people do when they see him, he took that as a invitation to follow them. He extended a hand as if he were about to say something but his mouth didn't bother to open-- that and he forgot what he was going to even say to something so.. attractive? cute. or.. small? Small and cute. Smute. (What rattles around in his head-- nothing.)
15 Apr 17, 12:28 AM
BRIAR: -He did not have to look over his shoulder to know that he was being followed. Strange, tall man on the street in the middle of the night... What a terrible night for the chauffeur to be unavailable. With his lips forming a thin, tight line, Briar chose to continue on and hope that he could lose the man eventually.-
15 Apr 17, 12:34 AM
DUNKIN: Dunkin not even thinking that he probably seemed creepy or alarming just kept following him. He brought his index to his forehead and tapped on it thinking to how he could possibly engage in conversation. Finally.. he scuttled closer behind the other- but not too close. He doesn't want to send off red flags. "Ehhh, Perdon..." He muttered.

BRIAR: Pardon. -The correction comes out before Briar had time to properly process that he had been spoken to, having just barely caught the voice from behind. He slows his steps until he comes to a halt, turning around to face the stranger. He looks him up and down in what little light the nearby streetlight provides, his judgement and disgust masked behind a neutral expression before his gaze focuses on his face.- May I help you, sir?
15 Apr 17, 12:50 AM
DUNKIN: He too comes to a complete stop. They answered so quickly it jacked his process up. He stood for a moment and stared at the other before slowly shaking his head. "No." He replied. "...ehh, Just wanted to uhh.." He scratched his head staring at the ground. "Hmm.." he hummed before shrugging at the other. "Hola..." He was slow and soft spoken. Almost sloth like.

BRIAR: -His eyes bore holes into the man as he stared, silence enveloping him as he waits. Slow, fragmented speech only led him to believe that he might be dealing with someone who was either mentally stunted or poor at English. He chose to believe the latter and save his harsh judgements for later.- ... Hello. -Other languages had never been part of his education, though he was now tempted to request a tutor... After he graduated college.-
15 Apr 17, 01:13 AM
DUNKIN: Dunkin lowered his head slightly as this dainty boy burned holes into him. He wasn't at all self-conscious about how he looked.. but he never had anyone stare back at him. But he continued to stare down at the tyke, his pale blue eyes finally shifted away as he rummaged through his pockets with a seemingly good idea. He removed from his coat pocket a pocket watch, a rusty nail and a unopened bottle of red nail polish. Something he pocketed because... why not. He needed it. He extends his hands out to the other. "Hmm, querer esto?" He muttered as his soft gaze glanced between his treasures and the stranger he decided to bother.
15 Apr 17, 01:20 AM
BRIAR: -Blinking, his gaze averted only to draw down toward the hand that was presented to him. He scrutinizes the random items for a moment before pulling out his phone, tapping away until his gaze once more returned to the stranger.- No. I do not take oddities from strangers. -Perhaps he should ask for that tutor sooner than later.-
15 Apr 17, 01:27 AM
DUNKIN: He stared for a moment and shrugged before stuffing them back into his pockets. "Strangers..?" he piped thinking for a moment. Trying to register what was happening. He then realized he forgot to introduce himself. "Oh. Dunkin." He paused for a hot minute before pointing to the other. "Como te llamas?"
15 Apr 17, 01:30 AM
BRIAR: -Definitely bad at English. Dismissing the thought, he would have returned his attention to his phone had he not inferred what he must have meant. Regardless, he was still a stranger to him.- Briar.
