It came so suddenly and without warning throughout the dead of the night: A sudden pulse throughout the city, followed by another and another. By the time people knew what was happening, a large earthquake shook the city, causing buildings to tumble, grounds to crack and shift and, worse of all, the city borders to collapse. Many lives were lost, others injured and lives completely changed forever.

The power plant in Regnum is still down, but some groups have gotten together with electric Pokemon to help restore some of the electricity to the city. It is suggested not to walk the streets alone as the crime rates have sky rocketed despite the efforts of the Enforcement Wing. Phones and internet is still down, but people have started finding other ways to communicate for the time being. In good news, the weather has begun to warm up, the snow and ice finally melting. Sadly, the barrier is still blocking people from leaving the city.
news alert!
08/10/17
Three new awesome things have been added to the site to spice things up. First is the new Trading Center. It is a place where you trade any of your unwanted Pokemon for new Pokemon. You can also sell your Pokemon to the trading center to make a little extra cash.

Second is the Black Market. It's a shop run by the Yamask Saints. Some very rare Pokemon and items can be found in the shop, however be weary. Some of their Pokemon and items might be a scam.

Last but not least, a Secret Underground Arena has been added to the South. Its is against the law to fight Pokemon in such brutal, unconventional ways but the GBG's don't seem to care. They've set it up to make everyone a bit of money and to have fun. Just don't get busted by the Enforcement Wing.

Ban's have now been updated! The limit on Alola Pokemon that new members can have has been removed. They now follow the same rules as picking the other Pokemon for your starting Pokemon. However, the Ban on Eevee and it's evolution's has now been reinstated. You will still be able to breed or catch Eevees in the wild but you no longer be able to start with an Eeveelution. This will stay in effect until the site no longer has an over flow of starting Eevees.

It was a cloudy day in Regnum. With the earthquake having ended and the snow being gone, one would say this is a good day. Those people are fools. It was anything but a good day, much less any day recently. They were still digging people out of the debris days later, not just counting the dead and making sure the receive a proper burial.

Vating was digging through some debris from one of the many destroyed apartments. He was called in to see if he couldn't get into the building without it falling and crushing whoever may be inside. This was especially important seeing as how the building wasn't entirely destroyed, the bottom three floors were still intact and given if the people has the supplies, could survive the few days in there, albeit they'd likely be nearly dead due to a dwindling air supply, but there was a chance.

He threw out Big Cheese, his All holy and will forever bless the gods who brought him down to Vating Purple Tyranitar, and Aqueous, a Blastoise, also his partner. These two large Pokemon got to work, with Aqueous blasting a hole in the structure and Big Cheese holding it open. Vating slipped on a rebreather and a hazard suit and returned Aqueous to his Pokeball. He was about ready, working in almost complete silence the entire time. Now he just awaited the arrival of the person from the Enforcement Wing who was going to be helping him.

You Never Know What You May Dig Up

The site was swarming with people and Pokémon; enforcers and Pokémon experts were shouting orders while ambulances came and went. There were people crying and mourning and curious onlookers gathered around to see the dead and wounded as though it was all a game – until officers stepped in to chase them away. With a site that busy, how was she supposed to find the expert she had been paired with?
The four main wings of the city had been in chaos the days after the earthquake. Improvising was what kept the faculties running so there was no system to any of this just as there had been no warning before the shockwaves had hit Regnum.
Yariah scanned her surroundings attentively, searching for a man named Vating Hamlick. ”Where the hell could he be?” she frowned. Her Lucario replied with a confused growl.
It wasn’t until a purple Tyranitar caught her attention, that she descried the blonde, clad in heavy working gear. With that disguise, no wonder she had trouble spotting him, even more so considering that she had only seen him around once or twice. She approached the man quickly, waiting for him to finish whatever he was currently doing before addressing him.
”Vating Hamlick? I’m officer Lelurian, I was told to find you.” She reached out her hand. ”Pleased to meet you!”

Vating was a very patient individual, not too talkative, but patient enough. The Pokemon Leader probably should've taken the rebreather and cowl off seeing as he wasn't climbing in yet. Though his partner for the day seemed to have found him easily enough. He watched the young woman approach and took off his mask and cowl once she came up to him. He put the mask on a utility belt, with a few extra rebreathers attached to it. Each mask had two filters already attached to them, not to mention the extra filters in a few of the pouches. As she greeted him, he returned the handshake and said, "Nice to meet you Officer Lelurian. I'm Vating, one of the Pokemon Leaders of the Pokemon Wing."

Now wasn't the time for an extended greeting though, he went straight from the friendly greeting to business. They needed to make sure they got survivors out if there were any. He grabbed a hazzard suit from a crate and tossed it over to Lelurian, "I don't know what could have leaked in there, so I recommend putting that on, along with a rebreather. I don't know if there are even people inside, but I'd rather we not risk ourselves to the extent of not wearing safety equipment. Once you're in all of that, Big Cheese here will make sure the hole we've made stays open. We have two floors of space to check and that can take a while. We're looking for possibly survivors, so let's just hope that if anyone's in there, they aren't buried under rubble or dead." In all honesty, this was a lot of information that she would likely have been briefed on, but he wasn't taking chances today. One could easily see the desperate seriousness on his face, he didn't want to have any more casualties.

You Never Know What You May Dig Up

She nodded as they shook hands. Meeting new people was always exciting, almost as exciting as the job. It was like trying out a new recipe in a way; trying your best to make it work and deciding if you liked it in the end.
The young officer watched her partner grab their working gear and readied herself to catch it as he tossed it her way. She had never worn a hazard suit, let alone a rebreather. She had been briefed, but rescuing people out of the debris was normally the firefighter’s or the paramedic’s job; although in times of shortage, everyone was asked to help.

”Understood. So, put on the hazard suit and the rebreather and then check the floors.” Yariah looked down on the suit indecisively before she held it up to examine it. It looked simple enough. She stepped into it clumsily, once almost tripping over the wide pant legs.
It took some time getting used to, but eventually the young woman felt comfortable wearing the strange outfit.

By the time she had put on the rebreather, a few minutes had passed and she hurried back to the Pokémon Leader’s side so as to not keep him waiting.
”I’m ready,” she announced while observing his serious face carefully. Then she looked up to the purple Tyranitar holding the building together. ”So this is Big Cheese?” She smiled. It was no time for casual conversations she knew, but she could not help to find the name amusing.

Vating smiled to the officer once she was equipped. After that, he slipped his cowl and rebreather back on, inhaling one last breath of clean air beforehand. Right as he was about to climb in, she decided to make small talk with Big Cheese here. He clearly loved the attention and did a goofy looking flex. Vating let out a laugh, then said, "Yep,
probably the only Tyranitar that you'll see in that color for a while, or ever. He's a good boy."
His tone was heavily distorted by the rebreather.

Once he finished speaking, he pointed in and climbed through the hole. On the other end, he looked about to see a lot of dust still, it was all over the area. He pulled out a pokeball and opened it up to reveal a Christmas Solrock, known as Lightbolt. The Solrock looked around a moment as it lit the whole room, revealing debris all around this floor. It survived the collapse, but not in great condition. He turned to Lelurian and said, "If you have anything to light up the room, it would help greatly."

You Never Know What You May Dig Up

She laughed as the Tyranitar made an unexpected movement. ”He sure is,” she agreed, whereupon earning a jealous look from the Lucario beside her. ”Oh, you too, Scarnen.”
The canine Pokémon snorted, satisfied and his arms crossed in front of his chest. Yes, he was the jealous type.

Yariah followed the Pokémon leader inside the collapsed building after returning the Lucario to his Pokéball. With the structure unstable she did not want to take any chances. She would call on her Pokémon once she actually needed them.
When a bright flash flushed the building, the young enforcer looked up in surprise. ”A glowing Solrock!” she gasped, her eyes wide. Never in her life had she seen a specimen quite like that. It was hard to look away from the shiny creature, even as Vating’s voice travelled through the room. ”I have but a flashlight,” she admitted, loosening the black device from her belt. She pushed the button, illuminating a part where the Solrock’s light did not reach.

They must have searched for a while, before Yariah stepped on something soft. She pulled back, appalled. As her gaze slid down to the ground, she realized that it was an arm. A human arm.
”Sir!” she called out. ”Quick, I think I found someone!”
Whether or not the person was still alive she could not tell.

Vating looked around the room some, just lots of debris and some destroyed, some intact furniture. This wasn't terrible, but they definitely needed to hurry in case it got worse... As stable as it seemed... Vating wasn't one to take chances, no matter how much he over-prepared.

When the officer with him called out that she had found someone, he looked to Lightbolt and said, "Search the rest of this room and then go to the next one." Lightbolt nodded and floated about the rest of the room, finding nothing of importance and moving on through the hallways.

Vating kneeled down and made a light tug at the arm just to make sure it wasn't just detached, that would've likely guaranteed that the person was dead on the spot.

((Disregard one of the next two paragraphs based on what happens))

If it didn't just pop out, then he would draw two Pokeballs, tossing them both into the air before catching the pair. They lit the room up for a moment as a Blastoise and Feraligatr popped out. Vating crossed his arms and said, "Aqueous, Caiman, I need you two to dig out this body." The pair would nod and start moving the debris quite rapidly, yet also carefully.

If it did just pop out. Vating would close his eyes awkwardly mumble a few words, then set the arm down and head out. No point in trying to dig out the dead, especially if people could still be alive. He'd wave the officer to follow and say, "We need to save the people that could be alive. That's our priority..." It sounded cold, especially to himself at first, but he knew it was the most logical way of going about things.

You Never Know What You May Dig Up

She brushed away some dirt with her hands as the Pokémon Leader arrived and knelt down beside her. Her eyes watched him, wide with agitation. For a moment she felt paralyzed, unable to move, holding her breath while her partner tugged at the arm. When it came off with the sound of ripping clothes, she shrieked, aghast, and jumped back a step. Her right hand involuntarily moved up to her face, covering her mouth in front of the cowl she was wearing, as the nausea travelled up her body. Dry blood was sticking to the disconnected joint, black in the dim light. It was an unnatural sight, not something she was used to see in short amount of time that she had been on the job.
The young enforcer swallowed an urge to heave, averting her eyes. ”I’m sorry ...,” she mumbled, her voice distorted tauntingly by the rebreather.

She had recovered for the most part when Vating’s words reached her ears. Through the reflecting plastic mask of her hazard suit she tried to analyze his expression.
”We … can’t just leave him here,” she protested, although she was unpleasantly aware of the fact that he was in the right. ”This person had family … and loved ones. We have to get him out!”
Call it naivety or the eagerness of a young officer with an innocent sense of morality. Either way, beneath that cowl, Yariah was determined.

Vating knew where the officer was coming from. She wasn't wrong, they should recover the body, but she didn't seem to understand that they could recover the body later. They couldn't recover alive people later if they died. Well, they could, but that's just morbid. He simply said, "Tell me this. Would you rather dig up a corpse or would you rather spend that time saving people who could be relying on it? It may seem cruel to leave the body here, but we can pick it up once everything is safer to dig them up."

Vating then went into the hallway. It was completely void of anyone. He turned to the first door and opened it. He found a few pokeballs on the ground and put them in a pack, he needed to get them to their rightful owner. He looked around the room a second time. Lightbolt hovered over some rubble, revealing a person, still breathing. It was clear that this debris was a result of people trying to get in and that it was recent.

Vating kneeled next to the person, saying, "Sir, we'll get you out." He made a few tugs before realizing that it'd be too hard to do just that way. He went to his utility belt and grabbed Aqueous and Caiman and tossed them out. Much like the disregarded paragraph, he'd order them to careful dig the person out.

You Never Know What You May Dig Up

She blushed at her own lack of judgement, as the Pokémon Leader explained the situation to her. A few moments into their cooperation and she had already made a fool of herself. How was she to convince the other now, that she was not entirely incapable?
The young enforcer bit her lips and gave the man a nod, following him as they threaded their way through the debris. It was a horrid sight. The air was thick with dust and despite the light that wound its way through cracks and collapsed windows, the building was dusky and wanting of any signs of life.
They were stepping over broken walls and shattered furniture as the blonde hunched to pick up a few abandoned Pokéballs. Yariah wondered what creatures they hosted, but then reminded herself to focus on the job. She panned her flashlight, illuminating bits and pieces of darkened corners and tiny spaces crushed by the collapse.

Vating spotted the breathing man only seconds before she did. By the time he had knelt down, the officer too was bending down, carefully patting and examining the rubble the man was buried under. When her partner called on his Pokémon, Yariah stepped back and made room for them to materialize.
”Hold still, sir,” she instructed the victim, unsure of whether or not he was even conscious. But with the Pokémon’s help, they recovered him in a timely manner.
”We need to get him out!” she exclaimed, leaving the Blastoise and the Feraligator to do the carrying. It seemed like an eternity before they wound their way back to the entrance, where Big Cheese was still holding the structure in place.
”Paramdedics!” she shouted. ”We need a paramedic over here!”

Vating was glad to see that the officer was willing to look past her immediate morals and follow the logic. Yeah, she could've realized from the start, but now this could be seen as a bit of a learning experience. Anyways, that was unimportant, the important thing right now was the wounded person. That mean't that there could reasonably be more. His two pokemon just finished digging out the person and he returned Aqueous (The Blastoise) to his pokeball.

Vating turned to Caiman and said, "Take this person out to big cheese, we're gonna keep searching for more people." Caiman nodded, carefully picked up the body and headed out to the hold they had created. The Feraligatr understood the importance of this task and took it rather seriously.

Vating smiled as he ran off and with a wave of his hand, said, "Come on. We gotta get the rest of the survivors out. If there are any, of course." He was being hopeful, especially since they already found one. Optimism outta breed success here... Right?

You Never Know What You May Dig Up

Blue eyes watched, as the paramedics heaved the injured man onto a stretcher and carried him away. She prayed silently for him to survive, before turning back to the Pokémon Leader, who had already came to her with new instructions. She could not help but admire the man for his resilience. The horrible site did not seem to affect him in the slightest and if it did, he was professional enough to not let it show.
”Let’s go then,” she agreed and followed the blonde back inside the collapsed building.

They scanned the debris for another while, but aside from dirt and dust and another lifeless body, there was nothing to be retrieved. It was a good sign, the young officer told herself. That only meant, that most people had gotten out during the catastrophe.
When at last they were sure, that they had not miss anything, Yariah turned to her companion again.
”You think it’s safe to carry out the deceased now?”

Vating made one last scan of the area, holding a lucky child over his shoulders after he was done. He went over to the officer asking if they could carry out the deceased, smiling under all his equipment, "Yep, be careful though, this isn't exactly a stable structure. Get out one or two bodies at most, then get yourself out. We'll dig the rest out once the building is collapsed... As messed up as that is." He crawled through the hole and handed the child over to a paramedic before going back in to help the officer save a few bodies.

Once inside, he instantly went to the first one they saw and tossed out Aqueous and Caiman as they dug the body out. He turned to Caiman and said, "Help her dig out a few bodies." Caiman nodded and walked over with Yariah to help her get the bodies out of the rubble. Aqueous and Vating took this current body and moved him through the entryway so that the doctors could handle it.
